To customize the lock screen, select the Start button, and then select Settings> Personalization> screen lock. If Windows Spotlight isn’t working as expected, here are some things you can try:
- If you don’t see the Windows Spotlight change option under Settings> personalization> locks, the setting may be managed by your organization. Please contact your system administrator for more information.
- Please note that Windows Spotlight will not activate after restarting or shutting down the device – you must first log into Windows with an account that has this feature enabled. To test if Windows Spotlight is working properly, press the Windows logo key + L to lock the device. A photo of Windows Spotlight should be displayed on the lock screen.
- If you don’t see the Windows Spotlight image when logging in, select the Start button, and then select Settings> Personalization> screen lock. Then make sure Show lock screen image on login screen is turned on .
